PNP chief coming to Bacolod on August 25

DIRECTOR General Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa, chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), will arrive in Negros Occidental later this month.

Initial reports said that Dela Rosa will arrive in Bacolod City on August 19, but the schedule was moved to August 25 as he is set to attend an important activity in Malacanang on the 19th.

During his visit, Dela Rosa will attend the 115th Police Service Anniversary hosted by the Negros Island Region (NIR).

He is also set to attend the retirement honors of Chief Superintendent Conrado Capa, regional director of Police Regional Office-NIR.

Capa, who served as the first regional director in PRO-NIR, will end his term from police service on August 29.
