MSAB supports skills training for Army's engineering brigade

THE Multi-Sector Advisory Board (MSAB) of the Philippine Army's 53rd Engineer Brigade will conduct a month long skills training this August for selected 53rd Engineer Brigade personnel in time for its anniversary on August 26.

The training is to equip the brigade with the latest trends and technology available in the construction industry today. The training also aims to facilitate the sharing of technical expertise and inculcating professionalism, proper values and ethics through the assistance of MSAB members.

Modules include Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) Training, Automotive Electrician Training, Masonry and Carpentry Training, AutoCad 3D Home Architect Training, Seminar on Relationship and Values for Families, Lecture on Penal Code and Criminal Law and Seminar on Spiritual Enlightenment.

MSAB members who will facilitate the trainings are Cebu Contractors Association, USC Talamban Campus, Carmelite Sisters and Volunteers, Conservative Bible Baptist Church, Judge Soliver Peras of Cebu City RTC, New Generation Rotary Club of Mactan, National Youth Commission, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and Sun Star.

In support to the AFP’s campaign to sustain the gains of peace and security operations, the 53rd Engineer Brigade has vigorously pursued its mandated mission in order to help create an environment conducive for sustainable development and just and lasting peace in the Visayas.(PR)
