CEBU CITY -- Two graduates from the Cebu Institute of Technology-University made it to top 10 of the August 2016 Mining Engineering Board Exam.
Anjaylove Sevilla Geniston ranked third in the exam with 88.35 percent, while Val Godfre Minoras Capin placed fourth with 88.15 percent.
Nestor Dela Cerna Opena Jr. of the Caraga State University-Butuan City topped with 89.80 percent rating.
Two graduates form Bicol University-Legazpi also in top 10 are Donna Mae Parpan Lonnga, who landed second with 88.55 percent, while Kimberly Paguia Rapirap landed fifth with a score of 88.10 percent.
Jasmin Jove de Vera of the University of the Philippines-Diliman ranked sixth with her 87.85 percent score.
Renato Yecyec Sabat Jr and Ryan Casanova Pacot of the Saint Pail Univesity-Surigao landed seventh and eighth, respectively.
Sabat got 87.80 percent, while Pacot got 87.70 percent.
Also in top eight is UP-Diliman's Christjohn Rhoie Caperlac Palacol.
Another Caraga State University graduate, Vince Ivan Fernandez Libao, placed ninth with a score of 87.60 percent.
Hazel Atrasado Nunez of the Bicol University-Legazpi shared the ninth spot with Libao with 87.70 percent.
University of Southeastern Philippines-Davao City’s Elma Jane de Padua Rapal landed in tenth place with a score of 87.30 percent.
