Kapampangan group holds 6th mission in children's home

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Kapampangan Ku, Pagmaragul Ku (KKPK), an organization of Kapampangan on Facebook, conducted their sixth social service mission at the Munting Tahanan Ng Nazareth in Mabalacat City over the weekend.

The event was spearheaded by Kapampangans based in the country who brought in donations to the welfare facility.

The items include food and other necessities. The Munting Tahanan Nazareth is a facility for special children.

The children were entertained during a short program hosted by KKPK officers.

KKPK hosts regular missions to the facility as part of its social service programs to bring Kapampangans from different locations in an occasion for camaraderie and giving.

The KKPK, through its six chapters in the province, has been active with its feeding programs, financial assistance to indigent patients, children’s home, senior citizens centers, and other projects.

The mission of the KKPK is to provide services to the Kabalens, ensure equitable transformation, uplift the pride of the Kapampangans, and assert unification in all issues involving the Kabalens,according to Founder Jetlee Tiongco said.

“Our vision is to units all Kapampangans,” Tiongco said.

KKPK has about 35,000 registered members, according to Tiongco, who is an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in Saudi Arabia.
