2 men shot dead in Pasil, Capitol Site

TWO men were shot dead in separate incidents in barangays Pasil and Capitol Site in Cebu City on Sunday and Monday.

A suspected drug user was shot dead beside his house in Lawis Riverside, Barangay Pasil at 11:20 p.m. Sunday, August 14. Four hours later on Monday (August 15), two men were shot inside a bar in B. Rodriguez St., Barangay Capitol Site. One of them was killed.

Before the incident, Sulotan's wife, Helen, saw the two unidentified perpetrators near their house.

"Wala nailhan sa misis ang nagpusil pero kita siya sa duha ka taw sa wala pa gipusil iyang bana (The wife didn't recognize the attackers but she saw them before they shot her husband)," Police Officer 3 Nicolo Gonzales of the Homicide Section said, adding that Helen admitted that her husband was a drug user.

Sulotan, who was heading home from his work as a carpenter, was shot on the head by the one of the unidentified men.

In Capitol Site, the victims were identified as Raul Delara, 40, of Barangay Guadalupe and his cousin Martin Delara, 32.

The two were on a drinking spree inside a karaoke bar, where they were shot by an unidentified gunman.
