THE University of San Jose-Recoletos Jaguars won against the Cebu Institute of Technology-University Wildcats, 80-76, in Cesafi basketball season 16, at the New Cebu Coliseum, on Tuesday, August 16.
Jaybie Mantilla led the Jaguars with 24, followed by Ralph Dinolan with 16 points, and Miguel Gastador with 13 points, to win the game against the Wildcats, improving their record to 2-1 (win-loss).
The Wildcats, however, led by Reclear Navarro with 19 points, followed by Kint Ariar with 16 points, Wilkins Sanchez and John Lucena who chipped in 11 points respectively, tried to keep up with the Jaguars but ran out of gas at the last two minutes of the game.
They are still winless after three games, they now have a 0-3 (win-loss) record.
