Megaworld launches 6th residential tower in Iloilo City

MEGAWORLD, the country’s largest developer of integrated urban townships, launched its sixth residential tower in the Iloilo Business Park in Mandurriao district, Iloilo City, August 18, in a move to show continuing support and trust to the Duterte Administration.

Harold Geronimo, Megaworld AVP and head of PR and External Affairs, said the new Saint Honore, a 10-storey condominium, is an exclusive residential community inspired by the classic architectural designs of shops, boutiques, museums and retail rows in downtown Paris, France.

It is expected to open by the year 2021.

Geronimo said that Megaworld Chairman Andrew Tan is bringing architectural inspiration from Europe to the Philippines and especially in the 72-hectare township in Iloilo City with a projected financial exposure of P35 billion investments.

Megaworld is currently developing three townships in Western Visayas to include Iloilo City, Sta. Barbara in the province of Iloilo and in Boracay Island.

The P1.5 billion investment is slated for Saint Honore residential tower and construction will start a year after the launching.

It is also the fourth project on high rise condominium to include One Madison Place, Lafayete Parksquare and The Palladium at the Iloilo Business Park that also hosts the Iloilo Convention Center, Marriot Courtyard Hotel, Richmonde Hotel Iloilo, modern BPO office towers and the Festive Walk Mall.

Jennifer Palmares-Fong, vice president for Sales and Marketing of the Iloilo Business Park, said that Saint Honore, with its 168 units, will emanate timeless luxury in Iloilo City.

The units range from studio to executive 2 bedrooms. The select units will have its own lanai or balcony with a magnificent view of the township or Iloilo skyline.

Capturing the laid back laissez faire way of the Parisian life, Saint Honore will have its own lifestyle amenity deck on the third floor composed of a swimming pool, a pool lounge, kiddie pool, Jacuzzi, function halls, and a fitness center.

Future residents will be assured of utmost security and privacy as the residential lobby with reception and lounge area will have closed circuit TV cameras, video phone security system in all units, and a centralized command center for 24-hour monitoring of all building facilities and amenities.

The Iloilo City township is generating some 6,000 employment and expected to surge up to 40,000 job opportunities by the year 2021.
