LINGAYEN, Pangasinan -- Two more drug personalities in the watchlist were killed by motorcycle-riding men in separate shooting incidents in the towns of Binmaley and Bolinao on Wednesday, said the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO).

Shot dead in Barangay Gayaman, Binmaley around 5:50 p.m. of August 24 by four unidentified suspects was Marlon Bautista, alias Onsoy, 31, a construction worker and a native of Metro Manila who was listed as top 16 in the municipal level as pusher/user in Binmaley.

Four suspects whose identities are yet to be determined and on board two motorcycles and in stationary position waited for the victim to pass and when Bautista came into view, he was shot by one of the suspects.

Thereafter, all the suspects sped off toward Barangay Sta. Rosa, also in Binmaley. The victim died on the spot.

The motive of the incident is believed to be drug related.

On the same day, one Jayson Homer, alias Tago, 26, a native of Dasmarinas, Cavite, listed as Top 9 drug personality in the municipal level as pusher, was shot dead by two motorcycle armed men riding in tandem in Barangay Binabalian, Bolinao.

Initial investigation revealed that the victim, together with his five companions, were walking along a barangay road when the armed men on motorcycle suddenly stopped by and one of them pushed the victim to a grassy area and shot him several times.

Homer's companions scampered toward different directions.

The suspects fled after the incident, bringing along with them their firearm.

Homer was rushed to the town's Rural Health Unit but was pronounced dead by the attending physician. (PNA)
