Ex-PBA player's daughter kills 1, injures 12 in car crash

CRIMINAL charges await the daughter of former PBA standout Nelson Asaytono for her involvement in a car crash on Tuesday night that killed a man, injured 12 others and destroyed several shops in Sta. Mesa, Manila.

Traffic investigator Rey Fernandez said 22-year-old Kim Arielle Asaytono would be facing charges of homicide and reckless imprudence resulting to multiple physical injuries.

Arielle was allegedly having an argument with her female companion when she lost control of her red Toyota Innova, which rammed into a waiting shed, a barber shop, a horse race betting station and two tricycles along Altura and Ramon Magsaysay streets, the policeman said.

A certain Oscar Lastimado died in the incident while 12 others were injured including four who are in critical condition.

Fernandez said Arielle failed to present a driver's license to authorities following the incident. (Sunnex)
