Blackout hits Negros

A MORE than an hour blackout hit Negros Occidental Friday, September 9, from 12:28 p.m. to 1:44 p.m.

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines said the unscheduled power interruption affected the service areas of Central Negros Electric Cooprative, Negros Occidental Electric Cooperative, and Northern Negros Electric Cooperative due to the tripping of the 138 KV Mabinay-Kabankalan Lines 1 and 2.

Power was fully restored in all areas at 1:44 p.m.(TDE)
