A MALE newborn was found dead near a Chinese temple at Purok Calantas, Barangay Villamonte in Bacolod City on Wednesday.
The baby was placed inside a garbage bag left beside a creek when found by two scrap-gatherers around 5:30 p.m.
Senior Inspector John Ganzon, head of Police Station 4, said the baby is about three weeks to one-month old.
Nobody saw the person who left the baby, he added.
Ganzon said they coordinated with the barangay officials to facilitate the burial of the baby. (GYM)
