NINE men were arrested in one night for illegal drugs possession in Barangay Duljo Fatima, Cebu City, on Thursday, September 15.
Police Senior Inspector Narrolf Añasco Tan led the Oplan Double Barrel in Barangay Duljo Fatima, resulting in the arrest of Albert Amarado, Christopher Evangelista, and Arnold Cabrera at Sitio Buli around 11:10 p.m.
Police recovered .45 caliber and four transparent plastic sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu.
In Sitio Bohol, arrested around 12:30 a.m. were Paul Tunelle Benologo, Richard Pascubillo and Ramil Tenebro. Confiscated from them were four transparent sachets of illegal drugs.
Three other persons -- Allan Belleza, Jaime Alonzo and Dave Sardido -- were nabbed in the same place. Police confiscated from them two sachets of shabu, tin foils and disposable lighters. (Tovya Kaiko Galeon, USJR intern/Sunnex)
