A MAN was shot and killed by motorcycle-riding men in V. Rama Avenue, Barangay Calamba, Cebu City, around 11 p.m. Sunday, September 18.
The victim was identified as Antonio Bunal Jr., 46, a resident of 161 V. Rama Ave, Barangay Calamba.
Initial Investigation revealed that Bunal was on the roadside when two men onboard a motorcycle arrived. The backrider disembarked from the motorcycle and shot Bunal several times. The driver also pulled out a firearm and shot the victim multiple times.
Bunal died on the spot. The suspects then fled.
Recovered from the crime scene were seven empty shells of .45 caliber.
According to police, Bunal is in their drug watch list.
The victim also has several enemies at the drug-affected area in the interior portion of A. Lopez, Barangay Calamba, the police added. (Quincy Jones Adriano, USJR intern/Sunnex)
