FOUR suspected drug pushers, including a working college student, were caught in separate operations in Cebu City and Moalboal.
Two of the suspected drug pushers were caught by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Metro Cebu in a drug bust in Barangay Luz, Cebu City, around 11:20 a.m. Thursday.
Rizande Rabusa Telebango and Joejen Olimba Carredo were collared in thre drug bust led by Superintendent Fermin Armendarez III, the CIDG-Central Visayas assistant director.
Seized from the two suspects were 45 grams of white crystals believed to be shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) worth P180,000, drug paraphernalia, and the marked P1,000 bill placed on top of a pile of cut-up papers.
At 12:15 a.m. Thursday, a team of Regional Special Operations Group-Central Visayas arrested the 23-year-old girlfriend of their target drug pusher in Barangay Tejero, Cebu City.
Suspect Rosana Montecillo Manaytay is a working student who is taking up education. She told the police that she is not involved in selling illegal drugs; only her boyfriend Algen Arquisal.
The operatives took P118,000 worth of shabu repacked in several small sachets.
