This society columnist began writing for the Cebu Times, followed by stints in the Southern Star, The Manila Times and Philippine Graphic.
Chinggay V. Utzurrum was one of the three society columnists behind Sun.Star Cebu’s “Three Eves” in 1982. After taking a break in 1985, she went back to writing a column, “The Scene,” for Sun.Star in 1994.
Chinggay finished Bachelor of Arts at the St. Theresa’s College and studied interior design for two years at the University of Santo Tomas.
This Rotary Ann is also a member of the Arts Council of Cebu Foundation Inc., the Angel Society of Cebu, Cebu Toastmasters Club and Amigos de España.
