PRESIDENT Benigno Aquino III led Monday the oath-taking of Solicitor General Francis Jardeleza, Presidential Adviser on Legislative Affairs Manuel Mamba, and Armed Forces Chief-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Jessie Dellosa and over a hundred other appointees of the Executive Department.

Jardeleza, the Deputy Ombudsman for Luzon, replaced Jose Cadiz who resigned earlier this month.

Mamba, a former congressman of Cagayan province, on the other hand, succeeded Antonino Roman, and Dellosa replaced Gen. Eduardo Oban who retired in December last year when he reached 56, the mandatory retirement age.

Other appointees who participated in the mass oath taking ceremony held in MalacaƱang include other promoted officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police.

There were also new appointees on some government-owned and controlled corporations, such as, the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) and the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation. (SDR/Sunnex)
