PRESIDENT Benigno Aquino III will have a state visit in China next week to tackle trade and economy of the two countries.
Department of Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary Cristina Ortega, in a press briefing in Malacañang Wednesday, said the President's state visit in China will focus on the trade and economic cooperation between the two republics.
Together with Aquino's delegations, are 13 members of his Cabinet, including 200 Filipino businessmen who want to look for business opportunities in China.
Aquino's itineraries will include a meeting with Chinese businessmen who are interested to invest in the Philippines.
The President will also visit Filipinos in Beijing, Shanghai and Xiamen, where he will also attend and speak in different business fora.
Aquino will then visit a Philippine business, the maker of Oishi products, in Shanghai.
In Xiamen, Aquino will have a special visit in the Philippines Memorial Hall, which is built in honor of her mother, the late President Cory Aquino. (Sunnex)
