
The Bacolod City Council has passed a resolution commending and congratulating Lora Marie Teresa Clarin for being named the 2023 Outstanding City Nutrition Program Coordinator in the region by the National Nutrition Council.
The resolution was authored by Councilor Celia Matea Flor, chairperson of the City Council's committee on women, gender, family, and childcare.
Flor stated that Bacolod City takes pride in its exemplary public servants who bring honor and recognition to the city through their outstanding performance and dedication to their duties.
She highlighted Clarin's exceptional commitment as the City Nutrition Program Coordinator, noting her significant efforts in promoting nutrition programs and addressing malnutrition issues within Bacolod.
Clarin’s leadership, innovation, and contributions to the nutrition sector were recognized by the National Nutrition Council, which awarded her the prestigious title of 2023 Outstanding City Nutrition Program Coordinator in the region.
"Her achievements reflect not only her personal dedication but also the collective efforts of the city government and various stakeholders in improving the nutritional well-being of Bacolod City's residents," Flor said.
She further emphasized that this recognition serves as an inspiration to all public servants to strive for excellence in their respective fields and underscores Bacolod City's commitment to achieving sustainable development goals.
