THE Provincial Government of Negros Occidental has distributed a total of P1.1 million insurance benefits to the families of barangay tanods, officials, employees, and health workers enrolled in its Barangay Insurance Program.
Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson led the distribution of checks held at the Provincial Capitol in Bacolod City on Monday, October 4.
The beneficiaries are from the towns of Calatrava, Manapla, E.B. Magalona, Murcia, Valladolid, San Enrique, Binalbagan, Isabela, Moises Padilla, Hinoba-an and Pontevedra, and the cities of Sagay, Cadiz, Victorias and La Carlota.
The activity was spearheaded by the Special Programs and Concerns Division. (PR)
