THE Department of the Interior and Local Government Negros Occidental turned over the solar-powered street lights to officials of Barangay Pilar in the Municpality of Hinigaran, April 20.
The turnover of renewable energy electrification at Purok Silverio is part of the Local Government Support Fund-Support to the Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP) Project for the fiscal year 2022
In her message, Cluster III Head Maria Nove Mejica highlighted the benefits of the project and the responsibilities of the recipient barangay.
Pilar Punong Barangay Benjamin Yulo and PARBA President Dioscoro Andrino expressed their heartfelt gratitude as beneficiaries of the program.
Mayor Jose Nadine Arceo, Municipal Engineer Joemarie Magbanua, and 62nd 1B SGT Jeron Depiña also graced the activity.
Also present during the ceremonial activity were LGOO VI Jennifer Acosta, PDMU Chief Engr. Mary Jo Anne Cabrera, and DILG NegOcc Provincial Office Engineer II Carmelo Lasola, Engineer II Marc Arjo Monterlibano and PEO II Carnel Juachon Abelarde. (PR)
