Cacao enthusiasts and farmers are invited to join the training of trainers on the high-value crop’s post-harvest processing, fermentation and drying techniques slated Oct. 9 to 13.
Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry and Department of Agriculture, the training will be held at the Organic Village in the Panaad Park and Stadium, Bacolod City.
The participants will experience a hands-on experience and expert insights into the art of cacao post-harvest processing.
Experts will teach the latest cacao post-harvest and in-depth fermentation techniques, and effective drying methods.
The training will also help participants in networking with industry experts.
The participants will ultimately will also learn the secrets to transforming cacao beans into premium chocolate and elevate their skills to a whole new level.
