Minimal oil price rollback set

A MINIMAL oil price rollback is cutting off the 10 straight weeks of fuel price increase.

In its respective advisories, Caltex, Pilipinas Shell, Seaoil, Cleanfuel, Jetti, and Petrogazz said there will be a P.20 per liter price decrease on gasoline and diesel on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.

Pilipinas Shell, Caltex, and Seaoil will also implement a P.5 per liter price rollback on kerosene.

Cleanfuel and Caltex will implement the price adjustment at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, while Pilipinas Shell, PetroGazz, Seoil and Jetti will have it implemented at 6 a.m.

Price of diesel went up by more than P14.90 over the past 10 weeks while that of gasoline rose by over P11.35 and kerosene by P14.35.

As of September 18, the Department of Energy indicated year-to-date net increases of P17.50 per liter for gasoline, P13.60 per liter for diesel, and P9.94 per liter for kerosene. (SunStar Philippines)
