THE Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) has received the Platinum Cluster Award 2024 from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines during the Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) President's Summit at the Sequoia Hotel, ParaƱaque City, on April 10, 2025.

President Norberto Mangulabnan, director for Intellectual Property Management Armando Reosura, and TBI manager Maria Genessa Zapanta represented CHMSU during the awarding ceremony.

The Platinum Cluster Award is IPOPHL's highest distinction for innovation offices.

It honors exceptional performance in key milestones such as conducting foundation courses, conducting patent searches, drafting and filing at least seven invention patents, and successfully commercializing intellectual property.

On top of the highest distinction, CHMSU faculty members, staff, and officials were also recognized in special commendation, which acknowledged their contributions in the achievement of the Platinum Cluster Award.

They were director Reosura, Zapanta, Reynor Ereje, Jose Naldrix Rivera, Daisy Cari-an, Arnel Maghinay, April Rose Galeno, and La Riena Fierro. (MAP)
