THE alleged mastermind in the recent carjacking and killing of car dealer Venson Evangelista is already in custody of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Bulacan.
In a radio report, the Bulacan Provincial Police Office (BPPO) reported that Raymond Dominguez, together with his lawyer, voluntarily went to BPPO to clear his name.
Suspects Alfred Mendiola and Batibot Parulan, who surrendered to the police in San Fernando City, Pampanga on January 20, admitted they were involved in the carjacking of Evangelista's Toyota Land Cruiser and tagged brothers Roger and Raymond Dominguez as masterminds.
Mendiola and Parulan were already brought to the Quezon City Hall of Justice on Saturday for the inquest proceedings.
Evangelista, a car dealer, went missing on January 13 in Quezon City. His charred body was found near an irrigation canal in Buliran, Cabanatuan City on January 14.
His Toyota Land Cruiser is yet to be found.
