CEBU CITY -- A Japanese businessman was found dead inside his house in a subdivision in Barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City on Tuesday.
Police believed Junichi Ikeuchi, 54, took his life after he sustained a gunshot wound in his head. He owned the Pride KTV bar in Barangay Marigondon.
A .45 pistol with six live bullets was found beside him. An empty shell and slug were recovered by police from the crime scene.
Ikeuchi was last seen last Saturday after he had a meeting with his staff, said PO2 John Carlo Jocutan of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office's Homicide Section.
The police said it was the businessman’s son who discovered his death after visiting his house in Collinwoods Subdivision at 5:15 p.m. (DSM/Sun.Star Cebu)
