JAN Marie Bordon concluded her journey as Bacolod City’s bet to the Miss Universe Philippines in high spirits.
Yesterday, Bordon began her message of thanks on Facebook with “Smile high, smile Bacolod!” after performing well during the pageant’s coronation night at SM MOA Arena on May 13, Saturday.
Many Bacolodnons have rooted for her victory following her entry to the Top 10.
Bordon was named Miss Bacolod Masskara-International in 2022.
In her post, she thanked Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Abelardo "Albee" Benitez, 5th District Rep. Dino Yulo, Bacolod City Cong. Greg Gasataya and wife Maita Gastaya, Ian Lo for supporting her.
She also thanked the designers for providing her outfits, gowns and costumes--Leonard Tano Geraldes (Prelim Gown), Edwin Benitez (final gown), Charlotte Rodriguez (national costume), Emgee Po Jimenea (srelim Suit), Jamijam Jimera (gala gown), Kating Singson (talent presentation).
She also thanked her designer friends--Getspotted, Rayven Cosas, Arielle Apoyon, and Chino Christopherson. “Thank you so much for your talent! It is my honor to wear all of your beautiful creations!"
Bordon also ackowledged the team behind her stunning photos and tourism video--Elbert Pasoy, Khalil Estraño, Mark Barroba, Studio Grey, Jerancy Antonio. She also thanked Team Acids, the city tourism and information officers, and Bacolod Yuhom Foundation.
Bordon also extended gratitude to her Aces and Queens family and stylists for making sure she always looked her best.
