THE City of La Carlota celebrated its annual Pasalamat Festival and one of the highlights of the festival is the staging of the Ms. Pasalamat Festival Queen 2023.
Fourteen lovely candidates competed in various categories. Carvi Lacson was crowned as La Carlota City’s new Pasalamat Festival Queen 2023 on April 29, 2023.
Allona Nejar won first runner-up while Camela Kyla Badillo won second-runner-up. Badillo was sponsored by La Carlota City Mayor Rex Jalando-on.
The three bested 11 other candidates who also showcased their beauty, elegance, and wit.
Lacson also won Best in Talent. She represented Brgy. Yubo and Pontevedra Mayor Jose Maria Alonso.
Nejar was named Miss Photogenic and Best in Evening Gown. She represented Barangay Haguimit and Board Member Jose Benito Alonso.
Gesille Mae Sullivan won as Best in swimsuit. She represented Barangay Balabag and HJMJ Construction. Randie Paspie was named Miss Friendship.
The Board of Judges were Robert Blancaflor, Wilbert Ross, Ashley Victoria Montenegro, Jim Ryan Ros and Dave Torres.
