SINCE it was a holiday in the country Tuesday, February 25, in commemoration of the Edsa revolution, Negrenses seized the opportunity to get out and dine with their family and friends.

The Mangrove Eco-Trail at Barangay Tomontong, EB Magalona was filled with local tourists who ate out assorted seafood such as the famous blue crabs of the town, shrimps, sinugba na isda, talaba (oyster), scallops, and sinugba na baboy, among others.

While enjoying the fresh seafood, the sea breeze and the ambiance of a nature-filled setting added more thrill and excitement to the local tourists.

It was the Local Government of E.B. Magalona under the leadership of Mayor Marvin Malacon who established this Mangrove Eco-Trail to help boost local tourism and at the same time nurtured and maintained the mangrove plantation that is beneficial to the existence of the aquatic life.

People started to frequent at Tomontong Eco-Trail just for leisure and recreation.
