MOTORISTS residing and passing Crossing Mining in Barangay Ma-ao, Bago City can now gas up at the newly opened J&P Asia gasoline station.

It was inaugurated and blessed Friday, January 28, 2022, by Reverend Father Joel Roquez in the presence of president Mariel Montenegro-Magno, executive vice president/chief finance officer Mia Benedicto, director Paolo Benedicto, and general manager Santi Magno.

Barangay Ma-ao captain Jovito Gahaton and Jocelyn Memoria, who is the purok president, also graced the event.

Montenegro-Magno said this is their third branch in the island and first in Negros Occidental. Their two other branches are in Negros Oriental.

Investing in Ma-ao is meaningful to them as the place is so dear to their family who used to stay there, Montenegro-Magno.

She said that it was a dream come true for her and her family, considering that they had planned it before and the opportunity came so timely.

The firm’s official said she hopes that the people will like, appreciate and patronize their gasoline station in terms of their fuel needs.

For his part, Gahaton welcomed the entry of this new investor as this will boost growth and development in their barangay and the city in general.

Barangay Ma-ao is a known tourist destination and investors like J&P Asia chose to undertake their business here, he said

"I am happy to have them here with us. Our barangay is proud to have J&P Asia to add to the existing five gasoline stations operating in our barangay alone. This means taxes for our city and barangay and employment for our people," he also said.

J&P Asia Inc. started in the early 2000s pioneering in fuel and lubricant distribution all over the region. The company’s remarkable performance by being the exclusive distributor of Shell Pilipinas in the Visayas was recognized through different awards and accolades.

The success of the company was then translated into retail — focusing on customer experience. J&P Asia reorganized and reshaped its mission to provide end-consumers direct access to clean, safe and affordable fuel.

Planting its roots in Bais City, Negros Oriental, this is where the first J&P Asia Gasoline Station started to operate in 2014.

As the business flourished for almost a decade, a refreshed and more refined look was introduced in 2021 during the launch of J&P Asia Mabinay Branch.

J&P Asia was thrilled to open its 3rd branch located in Crossing Mining, Brgy. Ma-ao, Bago City, Negros Occidental. This milestone fulfills the company’s pursuit to further improve customer experience by providing more services to its consumers.

As the company continues to grow and expand, J&P Asia promises to live up to its tagline, “Gasolinahan para sa tanan” which perfectly encapsulates the brand’s mission — to build a more economical business — offering quality products and providing a more sustainable livelihood to the locals.
