Rotary Club of Bacolod marks 86th Charter Anniversary, 84th Induction Rites

The Rotary Club of Bacolod led by President Michelle Medrano celebrated its 86th Charter Anniversary and 84th Induction of officers and directors and new members.

The said event was held at the Natalia Hall 1 and 2, O Hotel, San Sebastian Street, Bacolod City recently.

The club was formerly led by Immediate Past President Franklin Andre Familiaran.

The new club officers and directors for Rotary Year 2023-2024 include President-elect Marjorie Diño, Vice President; Past President Frederick Anthony De Leon; Secreyary; Emily Cuaycong, Assistant Secretary; Rotarian Mae Eras, Treasurer; Rotarian Edlyn Agraviador, Auditor; Past President Richard Paul Salem, Director, Club Administration and Membership;

Rotarian Erollplen Arroyo, Assistant Director, Club Administration and Membership; Past President Pauline Cuaycong, Director, Club Service Project; Rotarian Rudy La (Sonrisa) Fabeleña, Assistant Director, Club Service Project; Past District Governor Edgar Sy, Director, Rotary Foundation; Rotarian STP Pili, Director, Club Public Service; Rotarian Mary Joy Malunes, Assistant Club Director, Public Service; Rotarian Israel Salanga, Director, Youth Service;

Immediate Past President Franklin Andre Familiaran; Rotarian Marjorie Diño, President-elect for Rotary Year 2024-2025; Rotarians Jet Gabriel Pili and Jason Tupas, Sergeant-at-Arms; Past President Jose Glenn De Guzman, Protocol Officer; Past President El Cid Familiaran, Parliamentarian; Past President Jesus Jonathan Avelino, Club Trainor and Past District Governor Edgar Sy, Club Adviser.

IPP Familiaran thanked his fellow officers and members for the support they have given during his stint as Club President where the club and himself reaped several awards during the District Conference held at Boracay Island last May 2023.

For President Michelle, she also looked forward to a meaningful Rotary Year where club projects and activities will be implemented.

“I am looking forward for a fruitful year ahead with you all. Thank you and see you every Thursday and during our project launching activities,” she said.
