MORE than a hundred construction workers of Camella Homes in Barangay Alijis, Bacolod City have demanded from the management to bring them back to work after they were suspended by a certain Engineer Ken for a month, said Kilusang Mayo Uno-Negros leader Noly Rosales.

Camella Homes is owned by the Villar family.

The said construction workers staged a rally in front of the subdivision and it’s been three days that they have not worked.

Rosales said their suspension is unjust because it does not due process.

Jessie Rosallos, a construction foreman, said that they just want to go back to work.

He said they have no overtime pay despite the fact that they work more than eight hours a day.

They were underpaid, he said. He added they don't know the reason why they were not allowed to work anymore.

They just want answers from the management, the workers said.
