TWO grandmothers aged 104 years old were considered the oldest recipients of Covid-19 vaccines in Negros Occidental.

Kabankalan City Mayor Pedro Zayco identified the two as Argentina Azcona and Esperanza Gargantiel, both residents of Barangay 3, Kabankalan.

Zayco said both elderly women received their AstraZeneca vaccines last August 2.

The mayor is recognizing both women as role models of the city and he is confident that it would further convince the residents to get vaccinated.

Zayco urged the city's residents to get the vaccine and to continue to follow the basic health protocols.
