TWO barangays in Himamaylan City applied to be declared drug cleared.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental Provincial Office has conducted Virtual Barangay Drug Clearing Validation with the Local Government Unit of Himamaylan City on August 13.
The validation was Brgy. Cabadiangan and San Antonio who submitted their documents that went through detailed and careful scrutiny by members of BDCP Team.
Barangay Officials also came face to face with the BDCP Team to answer any clarificatory questions.
Said virtual validation was participated by some Himamaylan City officials led by Mayor Rogelio Raymund Tongson, Jr. and
Himamaylan City Police Station personnel headed by Police Major Romeo Vargas and barangay officials of the two barangays.
Twenty-one drug surrenderees of the two barangays are now undergoing Community Based Rehabilitation Program and will be graduating within this month, PDEA Provincial office reported.
