TWO street-level target drug personalities were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Negros Occidental in the past two days.
In Bacolod City, Regie Casiple, 30, of Barangay Alangilan was collared after he evaded a police checkpoint in front of a high school in Barangay Granada Friday.
He yielded two plastic sachets containing suspected marijuana worth P800.
Casiple, who is also a drug surrenderer, is detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 5.
In Himamaylan City, Leslie Valeriano, 40, of Barangay Sara-et, was arrested in a buy-bust in the said village on Thursday, after police seized from her four sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) amounting to P2,500, drug paraphernalia, and the P500 marked money.
Police records showed that Valeriano is part of the drug lists of Himamaylan City and Binalbagan Municipal Police Stations. She is also the eighth street-level target of Himamaylan City Police Station.
Valeriano also yielded a list of her sources and alleged transactions in the illegal drug trade.
