3 nabbed in Singcang-Airport drug bust

THREE drug personalities were arrested in a drug bust conducted by personnel of Police Station 7 in Purok Hollow Blocks, Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City Tuesday evening, May 7.

Police identified the suspects as James Brisuela, 34, of Barangay 40; Johnny Ape, 40, of Barangay Alijis; and Constantino Advincula, 35, of Barangay Mansilingan.

Police Major Sherlock Gabana, chief of Police Station 7, said on Wednesday, May 8, the suspects were caught selling shabu to a police undercover at 11:05 p.m.

Police recovered from the suspects’ possession nine sachets of shabu, the P500 marked money, P500 cash, and drug paraphernalia.

Gabana said Brisuela and Ape were identified as street-level target in Bacolod City.

He said the recovered shabu has an estimated market value of P75,000.

The suspects are detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 7 and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (MAP)
