SIX newly promoted police officials from Police Regional Office-Western Visayas were deployed to Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) effective Monday, June 15, 2020, as part of their Field Training Program (FTP) for three months.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, spokesperson of BCPO, on Monday said the six newly promoted police officials were assigned to various police stations in the city. All of them are from PRO-Western Visayas.

They are Police Lieutenants Gilbert Oquendo Batiles, Edward Olmedo Bolivar, Christine Gimeno Cerbo, Abdon Ilarde De Mateo, Conrado Salguero Espino Jr., and Roque Celebrado Gimeno III.

Police Lieutenant Dan Oliver Acopicop Salazar from BCPO was also reassigned to Antique Police Provincial Office.

“All of them were deployed to different police stations to observe the investigation, intelligence operation, and traffic. It’s a big help to our police stations,” Pico said.

After the three months FTP, he said the police officials will return to PRO-Western Visayas admin office.

Pico added that they expect more deployment of police officers to BCPO anytime as part of the Philippine National Police FTP.
