Army delivers PPEs to frontliners

THE 303rd Infantry Brigade, Philippine Army with personnel from the 14th Civil Military Operations Battalion, Philippine National Police, Philippine Coast Guard and Bureau of Fire Protection continue to provide manpower and transportation assistance during the hauling of additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) from National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Center (NDRRMC) intended for 18 different hospitals in the province of Negros Occidental Tuesday, May 12.

PSI Air 2007 aircraft arrived at Bacolod-Silay International Airport carrying a total of 270 boxes of PPEs.

Colonel Inocencio Pasaporte, 303rd Infantry Brigade commander, said: "Your army in Negros will continue our mandate especially in supporting the efforts of the local government unit to prevent and contain the possible spread of Covid-19 in the province. We will continue to provide troops or manpower, as well as our mobility assets for the local government and most especially the people of Negros. With the help of other IATF members, we will ensure the swift and unhampered services of your army in the province."

"Once again, I urge our fellow Negrense to do our part to help our government to fight against the Covid-19 as we are now about to change from ECQ to GCQ. Let's obey and follow all the guidelines and safety protocols set forth by our government to help contain Covid-19," Pasaporte added.
