“ASIA'S GOT TALENT” Season 2 finalist and Filipino pride beat boxer Neil Rey Garcia Llanes arrived in Bacolod City Thursday for his forthcoming performance at the gala night of the Negros Occidental High School (NOHS) 58th Grand Annual Alumni Homecoming set Saturday, 7 p.m. at the school quadrangle in Araneta Street, Bacolod City.

Ramoncito Tano of NOHS Class 93, overall chairman of the Silver Jubilarians who served as host of this year's celebration, welcomed the beatbox icon along with his batchmates to Bacolod City Thursday.

Most of the Class 93 alumni took time to take a “selfie” or “groufie” with the vocal percussionist who hailed from Davao City.

He is happy to come to Bacolod and share his extraordinary talent to Bacolodnons.

In 2015, Llanes was already included as among the semi-finalists in the “Asia's Got Talent.”

But since he was torn between his studies and his career, he chose his studies and went back to the show in the Season 2.

He was not expecting that his return would again bring him into the limelight as many Filipinos have known him for his beatboxing.

He is someone who perfectly mimicked drum machines and other musical instrument using his mouth, lips, tongue, and voice.

He said beatboxing requires vocal exercise and he does it regularly.

Llanes has leveled up beatboxing for entertainment.

He hopes to give his best performance during the gala night, he said.
