THE PrimeWater Bacolod and Bacolod City Water District (Baciwa) have launched various activities as they marked significant milestones in their joint venture partnership, a press release stated.

In a program dubbed "Unleashing Potentials" on September 4, the joint venture group launched its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects, Non-Revenue Water Award, and Mid-Year Employees, among other programs.

They also unveiled their Ridge to Reef Watershed and Development Project, which includes watershed preservation, reforestation, and cleanup drive to contribute to a greener Bacolod City and enrich environment awareness among the locals.

The activity is part of the "Lingap Kalikasan," the nature preservation arm of PrimeWater's Daloy ng Paglingap.

The latter is the company's CSR program that aims to give back to the community and help in the protection of the environment.

In addition to the CSR launch, there was also a celebration on the receipt of the Non-Revenue Water Award from the recent Revalida, the PrimeWater's performance recognition given across the Joint Venture Group.

"This is to appreciate the branch's effort in improving the water supply in Bacolod, including extensive leak detection activities spearheaded by the technical team, who have worked tirelessly to improve the water supply in the area," the press release stated.

Through Mid-Year Employees program, they acknowledged the hard work of the employees in the past months and impressing their dedication toward the goal of bringing potable, reliable, and sustainable water to the customers.

Gracing the event were Baciwa Acting General Manager Michael Soliva and PrimeWater Bacolod officials led by branch manager Lily Donasco. (PR)
