A BANK employee died while her husband was injured when they figured in an accident in Barangay Inayuan, Cauayan town, Negros Occidental.
Killed was Ritchel Robles, 36, of Purok 4, Baranggay Magballo in Kabankalan City, Cauayan town police chief Lieutenant Norberto Barniso said.
Investigation showed that Robles and her husband Benedicto, 35, were on their way to Barangay Bulata in Cauayan when they tried to avoid an approaching tricycle upon reaching the area of Sitio Hills in Purok 16.
The motorcycle rammed into a stall beside the road before slamming into a tamarind tree and eventually fell into a ravine.
Ritchel died on the way to the Merciditas J. Montilla District Hospital in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
