THE Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) was awarded for achieving the highest increase in crime clearance efficiency and crime solution efficiency in Western Visayas in the first semester in 2018 compared to the same period in 2017.

Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, acting BCPO director, and Superintendent Levy Pangue, chief of Investigation and Detective Management Division, along with Senior Police Officer 3 Rhanie Songgaling, and non-uniformed personnel Nida Araneta received the Philippine National Police (PNP) Efficiency Medal during the flag-raising ceremony led by Chief Superintendent Carlito Feliciano, deputy regional director for administration of Police Regional Office (PRO)–Western Visayas held at Camp Martin Teofilo B.
