“This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to the exemplary leadership, professionalism, and unwavering dedication exhibited by every member of the team.”

This was stressed by Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez after Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) was named the best city police station in the country.

“I would like to extend my congratulations to the BCPO headed by Colonel Noel Aliño for being named as the Best City Police Office in the entire country during the 122nd Police Service Anniversary,” Benitez said.

He said that with an impressive overall rating of 97.04 percent, BCPO's outstanding performance has rightfully placed them at the top position among other worthy contenders from across the Philippines.

He added that this does not only exemplify excellence in law enforcement but also instills a profound sense of trust and confidence among the people of Bacolod.

Lieutenant Colonel Bonifacio Ancajas, spokesperson of BCPO, said it’s a big accomplishment for BCPO.

“Last year, we were only number two, and now we are number one in the entire country,” he said.

He added the result was released on Wednesday, August 2, and the awarding will be held on August 8 in Camp Crame and will be attended by the BCPO director.

Ancajas noted that they did everything to maintain peace and order in the city and to be named the best police station.

“This is an annual celebration of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and it’s part of the activity to give an award to the best police station in the country,” Ancajas said.

He said they will do their best to maintain the good record of BCPO, and they expect to get the same award next year.

Ancajas also expressed his gratitude to all the police station commanders, its personnel and the local government unit led by Benitez for their unwavering support.*
