THE Bacolod City Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) is still conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of fire that hit the temporary storage facility of Concentrix at One Sanparq Building in Barangay Mandalagan past 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2022.

The fire only lasted for several minutes with no injuries nor casualties reported, City Fire Marshal Chief Inspector Rodel Legaspi said Friday, February 4, 2022.

The operation at the business processing outsourcing (BPO) firm was temporarily stopped when the fire broke out, Legaspi said.

He said the fire started at the north eastern portion of the ground floor of the building where several boxes were stored.

Legaspi added that the fire destroyed at least P20,000 worth of properties.

The fire marshal said the company should instruct its maintenance engineer to check the electrical connection to ensure it will not affect their system.
