A 16-YEAR-OLD boy was arrested for illegal possession of firearms and illegal drugs in a police checkpoint in Purok Tilapia, Barangay 3 in Bacolod City Wednesday night, March 13.
The police said the boy, whose name is being withheld for being a minor, was riding a black motorcycle when he was flagged down by police at 10:30 p.m.
Police seized from him nine sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride), one .38 caliber revolver, three live ammunition and unit motorcycle.
The police said the boy is one of the escapees from the Social Development Center in Bacolod.
The minor is now under the custody of Police Station 2. (MAP)
