Budget officer assures bigger bonus for Capitol employees

NEGROS Occidental Provincial Budget Officer Jose Percival Salado assured the Capitol employees on Wednesday, December 5, they will receive a bigger “extra” bonus this holiday season.

Salado said that on Thursday, December 6, they would be able to compute the savings in the Personnel Services (PS) as Wednesday was the deadline for the employees' payroll for December.

“We have huge savings for our PS because we have the salary pay increase and we have several unfilled positions,” Salado pointed out.

Salado also said he will present the figure to the governor next week.

“The governor will decide for that on Monday or Tuesday then we will submit it to the Provincial Board for approval on Wednesday. So hoping that it can come out during the Capitol Christmas party on December 14,” he added.

He said that last year, each Capitol employees received P40,000 extra bonus.

“It won't be less than last year because we have so much savings this year,” he added. (TDE)
