THE Carlos Hilado Memorial State College (CHMSC) in Negros Occidental has declared a 12-day freeze and stay-at-home protocol for all of its staff and faculty members.

In a post by the state college on its official social media page, the 12-day freeze aims to provide faculty and staff with options to effectively address their mental health and wellness concerns and to stop the cycle of local transmissions of Covid-19.

During the period, which covers from June 3 to June 6, 2021 and June 11 to 13, all campuses of CHMSC will be closed for disinfection.

All office heads, faculty, and staff are ordered to work from home on June 3, 4, and 11.

Only a minimal skeleton crew approved by respective vice presidents shall remain at work on campus.

Faculty and staff are also strongly advised to stay at home, remain connected/accessible, and must avoid socializing outside of their homes.

From June 2 to 13, current students and student applicants are also not allowed to enter any of the campuses, but they were instructed to transact by phone or email instead.

All guests and visitors, meanwhile, must make a prior appointment and confirmation with a particular office they wish to visit.
