Dengue cases in Negros Occidental decreasing

Dengue cases in Negros Occidental are decreasing by 78.90 percent from January 1 to September 30 this year compared to the same period last year.

Based on the record of the Provincial Health Office, cases this year are only 1,158 compared to last year's 4,431.

The number of deaths this year is seven.

Localities with the highest number of cases are San Carlos City with 153, Bago City - 124, Silay City - 90, Binalbagan - 66, Isabela - 64, Talisay City - 57, Hinigaran - 56, Murcia - 54, and La Carlota City with 50.*
