A FATHER and his son both landed in the hospital after they reportedly had an argument and hacked each other in Barangay Dos Hermanas, Talisay City, Sunday afternoon, February 9.
Police identified the father as Romeo Sayon, 73, and his son Joey Sayon, 46, both residents of Hacienda Teresita in the said barangay.
Based on information provided by police, the two were reportedly having a drinking session when a heated argument erupted between the two after the younger Sayon told his father to go home already.
The elder Sayon, however, returned bringing a machete and swinging it at his son, wounding him at the right elbow and left palm.
The son then fought back and drew his own bladed weapon hitting his father’s fingers.
Both victims are presently confined at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.
