Fisherman drowns in Cadiz
A FISHERMAN drowned in the waters of Barangay Cadiz Viejo, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental Saturday, February 4, 2023.
The fatality was identified as 35-year-old Elmero Padayao of Villa Luisa, Barangay Luna.
The victim left their house on February 1 to go fishing but failed to return home.
His body was found days later at the shoreline and was identified by his siblings.
The victim was brought to Cadiz City Emergency Clinic where he was declared dead.
