Gas station robbed

A GASOLINE station in Alijis Road, Barangay Singcang-Airport, in Bacolod City was robbed by two unidentified riding-in-tandem suspects Wednesday dawn, May 8.

Police Major Charles Gever, chief of Police Station 8, said the two suspects, who were on board a Rusi motorcycle, had refueled their motorcycle at Orient Fuel about 3:30 a.m.

Investigation showed that one of the suspects, who was wearing sando and short, asked the Orient Fuel employee if he can use their water so he can wash his feet.

Upon sensing that nobody was looking at him, the suspect immediately entered the cashier’s room and declared hold-up, police records showed.

Dennis Raz, 28, a cashier of Orient Fuel, told the police that the suspect pointed at him a bladed weapon and declared hold-up.

One of the suspects was also standing beside the pump boy Marcelo Tarogo, 18.

The suspects carted away P79,000 in cash and fled towards south direction of Alijis Road.

Gever said the gasoline station has no security guard and no closed-circuit television camera.

He said they are still conducting further investigation to determine the identity of the suspects. (MAP)
